The Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain
We are happy to announce that Art Windows Services has obtained the status of a Corporate Member of the Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain (STP).
The Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain is an independent, self-governing scientific and technical organisation which brings together engineers, architects, scientists, technicians and students living and working in the United Kingdom. These people and institutions represent various disciplines of technical sciences and enthusiasts of broadly understood science and technology.
The Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain has the status of Professional Affiliate at the Engineering Council and is a member of the elite club of 23 organisations associated with this British institution. STP is also the only organisation representing a national minority in this prestigious association.
STP was founded on the 7th of September, 1940 by Polish engineers who arrived in the British Isles after the outbreak of WWII. For 80 years, it has been continuously implementing the mission set out in the first Statue of the Association, which was supporting the professional and personal development of the Polish scientific community.
